I rolled my eyes and we talked for a bit more until I started yawning. “It was great that you could do that on a TABLE! I’m sure it’ll sound perfect on the drums! You still owe me one!” he commented. Jimmy looked confused but applauded anyway. “Well I had to improvise! It’s the wee hours here in London!” I explained after I ended my ‘show’. I showed him my drum sticks and began drumming some parts of ‘A Little Piece of Heaven’ on the mahogany study table. “Not funny! I thought you left!” Jimmy complained but burst into laughter when I stuck my tongue out to him. “Boo!” I exclaimed, in an attempt to scare Jimmy. I rushed back down and slumped in the seat. I heard Jimmy called out to me and I quickly made my way to my room where my drum sticks were. I giggled at his antics and left the laptop showing the vast study room. “Why can’t you play now? Im sure you have a drumset somewhere!” Jimmy pouted. I laughed and promised him that I would play the drums when we meet. “Scarlett, you still owe me a drum show!” Jimmy exclaimed. They then left Jimmy and I to Skype and we spent a whole hour with each other. I remembered Matt and Brian wishing me a Merry Christmas while Zacky and Johnny made a toast with their beers. Dad woke me up from my sleep that night just so that I could talk to them. I last saw Jimmy and the band on Christmas Eve in 2008 via Skype when they videocalled Dad from USA.
Avenged sevenfold so far away studio professional#
Dad was more than just a professional to the band. Ever since the concert, Dad became closer to the members of Avenged Sevenfold and they have been keeping him updated on the band’s progress and personal lives. Tears started to flow profusely as Dad brought me in his arms.

I lifted my head so my eyes met Dad’s and he confirmed the heartbreaking news. He’s gone, Ska.” My mobile landed on the ground with a thud. I was so engrossed with my mobile that Dad had to repeat himself. “Ska, I have bad news,” Dad spoke as he walked into my room. The Watson’s Residence, Knightsbridge, London My mind went back to the time when Dad broke the news.

I sat in the corner of the corridor of the window display and folded my legs. My eyes travelled back to the window display of Jimmy’s drumset and my eyes glistened with tears. This was my first tattoo ever and the only other tattoo I sported was at the side of my back- a tattoo of Mum’s and Dad’s names combined. Tattooed at the back of my left wrist was a Deathbat and the word, ‘foREVer’, in cursive, circling it. I stopped at my tracks when I found what I was searching for and looked at my left wrist. I had breakfast at the Fuel Café Express restaurant in the hotel and headed to the Casino floor. It was Christmas Eve and I knew exactly where to head to. I left a note for Maddy and went out of the suite. The guys were still sleeping as I could hear Ian’s soft snores from their bedroom. We talked on the phone for a good 15minutes and I was already dressed-up by that time. Mum was chirpy and she asked about our well-beings. “Hey Mum! It’s 8.10am and Christmas Eve here! How’s everyone?” I asked, realising that it would be 10 minutes past midnight back home. It was Christmas Eve and I decided to call home right after my shower. I went into the bathroom and took a warm shower. Maddy was still sleeping soundly on the bed and I glanced at the clock. I rubbed my eyes as I stretched myself awake.
